LDS Antenna
LDS Antenna
Custom LDS antenna structures can be integrated directly onto 3D plastic carriers or product housings, enabling flexible antenna design for compact electronic devices.
The integrated 3D design eliminates the need for additional antenna brackets, helping save internal space and simplify product integration.
Specifications
Laser Direct Structuring (LDS) is a manufacturing process that enables antenna structures to be designed and formed directly onto a three-dimensional plastic carrier. The carrier can be a separate plastic component or an integral part of the customer’s product housing.
With LDS technology, the antenna structure can be integrated directly into the product housing or internal plastic component, eliminating the need for an additional antenna bracket. This helps optimize available space while supporting the electrical and mechanical requirements of the application.
The LDS production process is fast and efficient, with relatively low customer-specific tooling costs, making it suitable for both customized development and volume production.
